OOEY GOOEY BUTTER CAKE

Nonstick cooking spray, for that pan
One 15.25-ounce box yellow cake mix
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
One 8-ounce package cream cheese, at 70 degrees
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
3 cups confectioners' sugar
  1. For that crust: Preheat the oven to 350 levels F. Spray a 9-by-13-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
